Thow Soon Pheng earns his Degree in Project Management from the Open University Malaysia (OUM). He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) and is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) in Pennsylvania, USA. He is also an Accredited Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) Trainer.

Mr Thow is currently the Senior Project Manager of a locally established Construction and Project Management Company. Has been actively involved in the construction industry for the last fifteen years in large-scale projects involving project management and has a proven track record in managing projects in line with project management processes, methodology, best practices, and standards. His strength lies in managing projects, design/project coordination, problem-solving, communication abilities, and balancing the competing project constraints, which include: Scope, Quality, Schedule, Budget, Resources, and Risks.

In addition to his extensive practical experiences and the ability to lead projects for any organisation and project management industry, he has regularly conducted in-house training/meetings in project management best practices for the project team members and the relevant stakeholders. He is also passionate about motivating and encouraging his team members to apply and practice what has been learned for the successful implementation of the projects.

Mr Thow is a Competent Communicator given in recognition for exceptional achievements in the Toastmasters International Communication Program. Besides being an effective communicator, he is also respectful and patient. More importantly, he has a genuine enthusiasm to maintain a passion for teaching and cares about his learners’ success.
