Rhymie Mohd Ramli holds a Bachelor of Law with honors from the International Islamic University of Malaysia. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of Malaya in 2001 and then commenced his legal practice. He then joined the Industrial Relation Officer Service as an Assistant Director of Labour. He has carried out various duties such as adjudicating officer in “Labour Court”, investigating officer as well as a prosecuting officer.

He has experience of 21 years in training related to the subject of employment law. Among the aspects of training given is the Employment Act 1955, Sarawak Labour Ordinance, Domestic Inquiry, Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Work, Managing dismissal and termination as well as Prevention of Forced Labour in the workplace.

Recent training conducted by him such as Training on the Employment Act and its recent amendment for Alam Flora Berhad, and Intel Penang Sdn Bhd. Training on understanding misconduct and domestic inquiry organized by Kelab Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia and Training on Sarawak Labour Ordinance and Managing Termination and Misconduct for Bintulu Port Berhad.

In addition, he contributed articles on labour laws published online by the Current Law Journal (CLJ) and was appointed by Open University Malaysia (OUM) as subject matter expert for the Employment and Industrial Law module. He is also a registered trainer with the Human Resource Development Berhad (HRDC).
